We checked 15 Wirral shops, from a Port Sunlight gallery shop to a West Kirby bookshop, for opening hours and addresses. Updated November 2026.
Wirral has 15 independent shops and shopping stops worth a Christmas trip in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with opening hours, addresses and what each one sells. Linghams in Heswall, MerseyMade in West Kirby and the Port Sunlight shops are the names most people land on. We checked every entry on 5 November 2026 against the shop’s own site, and we say where we could not.
We have not shopped at any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the shop says it sells and adds what others have published about it. Shops often change their hours close to Christmas, so check before a special trip.

Our Christmas markets page has the full list of fairs and how to reach them.

How we chose
These are the places people search for, chosen because they are independent or locally run and have a public record. That record means length of trading, awards, or coverage by Visit Wirral, Heswall Nub News, Uncover Liverpool, the Liverpool Echo and CAMRA. We have not visited them for this guide. Hours and contact details come from the shop’s own website where it publishes them. Where they come from somewhere else, the entry says so.
Run a place that should be here, or spot something that has changed? Email newsdesk@wirralonline.co.uk. Taken a good photograph of any of these places? Email it to newsdesk@wirralonline.co.uk and we will add it with your name as the credit.
